Sharece Bunn is assistant director for external communications and marketing for Strategic Communications and Marketing in Student Services and Enrollment Management. Sharece writes and edits content for external audiences. She also serves as a client manager and supervises members of the writing team.

Sharece earned a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Oregon and a second master’s degree in college student services administration from Oregon State University. Since Sharece first started working in higher education in 2013, her work has focused on international student support. She has worked as an advisor here at the UO and as an assistant director at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Washington. Sharece has served on the regional and national teams for NAFSA Association for International Educators and is currently a Board Member for the RPCV Alliance for Ukraine. Sharece has served with Peace Corps in Ukraine as a Peace Corps Volunteer, Peace Corps Response Volunteer, and most recently as a Virtual Service Pilot Participant.

Sharece was born here in Oregon and though she has lived in many states and different countries in her life, Oregon will always be home. In her spare time, Sharece likes to read, write, hike, scroll through Instagram, and do other things that make her laugh.
