Communications and Marketing

Strategic Communications and Marketing drives revenue and supports retention through data-informed marketing and communications initiatives for prospective and current undergraduate students.

We collaborate closely with Student Services and Enrollment Management, Student Life, and University Communications to deliver scalable experiences that genuinely represent our brand and delight external customers.

Submit a Request

Please choose an option below based on your affiliation with Student Services and Enrollment Management (SSEM), Student Life, or with a student club or organization.

To support revenue and retention efforts across the Student Services and Enrollment Management and Student Life divisions—especially during peak periods—we’ve established submission deadlines for projects needed within the first month of each term.

The dates below enable us to effectively assess and prioritize projects across units to inform whether they can be completed by Strategic Communications and Marketing, addressed at the unit level, or reassessed. Please submit your marketing and communications requests, including all necessary details, by the deadlines listed:

  • Winter 2026 (classes start January 5, 2026): Submit requests by November 7, 2025.
  • Spring 2026 (classes start March 30, 2026): Submit requests by February 13, 2026.
  • Summer 2026 (classes start June 22, 2026): Submit requests by May 1, 2026.
  • Fall 2026 (classes start September 28, 2026): Submit requests by July 31, 2026.

Additional Considerations

Certain projects may require extended timelines due to their complexity or external dependencies. Several notable areas are highlighted below.

  • Vendors: Initiatives involving external vendors may require additional time for procurement, contracting, legal and IT processes and reviews.
  • Printing: Large-scale printing projects typically need three to six additional weeks to produce after work is completed based on printing complexity and vendor production capacity.
  • New marketing campaigns: Strategic campaigns requiring new messaging, creative assets, multi-channel promotions, and/or
technical infrastructure to deliver a cohesive audience experience often need six months or more for effective deployment after project agreement and goal setting.
