Emmalee McDonald is assistant director for production and client services for Strategic Communications and Marketing in Student Services and Enrollment Management. In this role, she leads efforts to support the team as an administrator and project manager, activating and implementing production workflows. Additionally, she produces digital visual projects and live-streaming events.

Emmalee is originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, but grew up in Oregon and Colorado. Prior to joining the SSEM team, Emmalee was a producer and project manager in mindfulness education at Sounds True. She has extensive experience in video, photo, and live event production. Emmalee has worked at nationally and internationally recognized nonprofits and media companies, such as Blue Chalk Media and Vanport Mosaic.

Emmalee earned two master's degrees from the UO in 2017, one in conflict and dispute resolution and the other in multimedia journalism. When not at work, Emmalee can often be found wandering in the woods, with her nose in a book, or on river adventures with friends.
