The University of Oregon Division of Student Services and Enrollment Management (SSEM) recently engaged an external consultant to assess the University Health Center (UHC), a critical service unit on campus.

Dr. Jim Jacobs, Executive Director of The Vaden Health Center at Stanford University, spent a considerable amount of time reviewing and assessing the UHC, working closely with the dedicated staff of the center for input, observations.

Freshman in the UO chapter of the Evans Scholars Program received the Roland F. “Mac” McGuigan Academic Trophy for a 3.6 cumulative GPA at the 65th annual Evans Scholars winter meeting in Chicago.

Our most generous benefactors made a $500 million gift to launch the Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact—dedicated to fast-track science discoveries into innovations, products or cures that could improve the quality of life for people in Oregon, the nation and the world.

Thanks to a $16 million estate gift for scholarships, scores of high-achieving UO students on the path to becoming public school teachers will be spending less time worrying about debt and more time focused on becoming outstanding educators.

The University of Oregon sponsored the Pear Blossom Festival and Parade in Medford.  The UO’s parade presence included the Duck Truck, cheerleaders, the pep band, UO staff, UO Alumni Association members, and the Duck.
