Morgan Ramsey Daniel, associate director for operations, supports Banner and related software in the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships. She strives to streamline and optimize processes by effectively using technology in financial aid. She enjoys finding solutions that save hours of manual work for the office while improving student service. Additionally, she serves as the UO’s Gramm Leach Bliley information security program manager.
Originally from North Carolina, Morgan moved to Oregon from Colorado in 2014. She served as the chair of Ellucian’s Banner Financial Aid Community Source Initiative from 2012–2018 and has been actively involved with NASFAA’s Standards of Excellence peer review team since 2015. An educator at heart, Morgan believes that training is integral to a well-functioning financial aid office.
Morgan holds a master’s in leisure studies with an emphasis in therapeutic recreation from Oklahoma State University and a bachelor’s in wilderness leadership and experiential education from Brevard College. She is an avid gardener and supporter of local foods in all forms. She enjoys walking, mountain biking, traveling to new places, and a good cup of coffee.
