Sarah Goldman, MEd, is an assistant director for regional recruitment in the Office of Admissions. She joined the University of Oregon in September 2019. She oversees a team of regionally based recruiters who work in 25 states throughout the country. Sarah lives in the Chicago suburbs and works with students and families primarily in the Midwest as a regional staff member.
Sarah has worked in higher education since 2010 and has served as a Chicago regional admissions officer at three other institutions. She is an active member of the Illinois Association for College Admissions Counseling and has chaired several committees over the years. She is also the chief architect for the National Association for Regional Admission Counselors (NARAC) biennial survey of regional admissions professionals.
Sarah grew up in northern Illinois and enjoys working with students from her hometown and the surrounding area. Sarah earned her bachelor of arts from Cornell College and her master’s degree in higher education from Loyola University Chicago.
She is an active member of her synagogue, and when she’s not traveling around helping students and families learn more about the college application process, she’s home reading, baking, or crafting with her young son, Otis, dog CJ, and partner, Josh.
