Sandra Gladney is the director for continuing and professional education at the University of Oregon. She leads a team-oriented unit that serves a broad range of outreach and engagement programs. This includes organizational strategic planning and investments, supervision of programs and operations staff, participation in multiple university committees, and oversight of remote programs in Portland and Bend.
Sandra began her higher education career as a Program Coordinator in 1998 with UO Continuing Education. She currently serves as institutional representative to the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) and has served the Association for Continuing Higher Education (ACHE) at both regional and national board levels. Her prior volunteer work includes three years as board president at a nonprofit theatre in Eugene. Sandra completed her bachelor's in theater and communications at Central Methodist College in Fayette, Missouri, and her master's in arts management at the University of Oregon. Her current hobbies include gardening, hiking, and ballroom dancing of all kinds.
