Kyna Burgett is a senior assistant director in the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships (OSFAS). She has a long history in student services, as she began her employment at the University of Oregon in 1986 as a work-study student in the Office of Admissions. After earning a bachelor’s degree, she began full-time employment in the Office of Admissions before moving over to (OSFAS). In her current position, Kyna manages the Federal Direct Loan Program and the Federal Work-Study Program.

Kyna is a native Oregonian and believes in giving back to her community. She has volunteered with the Girl Scouts and with Lane County 4H. Kyna also served as an adviser for the Willamette High School equestrian team. When not at work, Kyna enjoys spending time with her family and the animals on her small farm.
