Caitlin Snyder is the director for Conference Services at Continuing and Professional Education (CPE). She is responsible for directing the development, operation and staging of the Conference Services group. In this role, she maintains relationships with executives of educational organizations, creates and fulfills service contracts, and fosters technological innovation within the team.

Starting as a student employee in 1991 with the Continuation Center (now Continuing and Professional Education), Caitlin joined the professional staff as a program coordinator in the exhibit management group upon graduation in 1993 with a BA in business administration. She developed expertise in tradeshow sales, corporate engagement, event production, and logistics, resulting in her advancement to lead the exhibits team and to serve more broadly as operations manager. While at CPE, Caitlin completed her PhD in music theory in 2010 at the University of Oregon, receiving the UO Doctoral Research Fellowship for her work, and taught as an adjunct instructor at the School of Music and Dance. Caitlin now leads Conference Services, building upon the traditions of innovation and flexibility to better serve the changing landscape of the events industry.

Caitlin is an avid scuba diver, fitness and outdoor enthusiast, and history buff. She enjoys traveling the world with her family.
